Short Bio

Rosario Surace was born in Cinquefrondi (Italy) on April, 6th 1988.

He obtained in 2011 his master’s degree summa cum laude in Telecommunications Engineering with a thesis on “Modeling and simulation techniques for optimal placement of UAV camera-drones in sport events shooting” at University of Calabria (Italy). He received his master's degree with highest honours “for the young age with whom he has achieved highly valid results”.

He obtained in 2015 his Ph.D. in Systems and Computer Science Engineering at Department of Computer Science, Modeling, Electronics and Systems Engineering (DIMES), University of Calabria (Italy), with a thesis on "Design and Performance Evaluation of Algorithm for Wireless Self-Organizing Systems.

From October 2012 to March 2013 (6 months) he has been
Visiting Researcher at Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department, University College London (UCL) under the supervision of Prof. Ioannis Andreopoulos.

From September 2013 he is a Technical Services Engineer at RAI - Radiotelevisione Italiana - Milan, Italy. Main activities:
